MSI Stealth GS66 is shaping up to be the most powerful gaming laptop on the market in 2020. The laptop was recently listed and discovered by Videocardz and will feature the Intel Core i9-10980HK processor and the NVIDIA RTX 2080 SUPER Max-Q graphics card.
The MSI Stealth GS66 series will come in a 15.6 ″ design, with a stunning matte black finish and super slim design that is impressive for the level of hardware it features inside. All models would feature an IPS panel with high-end variants that support refresh rates up to 300Hz! , while the basic level of these models would present a refresh rate of ‘only’ 240 Hz.
In terms of storage, you would get up to 2TB of NVMe (SSD), about 32GB of DDR4 (2666) memory, Dynaudio Dui Wave 2 * 2W speakers, Killer E3100 Gigabit + Killer Wifi6 AX1650 LAN connectivity and a huge range of ports I / O on the sides. The laptops would also feature MSI’s new CoolerBoost Trinity design that includes six internal copper heat pipes and a triple fan design inside the chassis to keep it cool and operational, which must be robust to maintain temperatures CPU + GPU.

The price of the MSI Stealth GS66 with the i9-10980HK, 32GB of RAM, RTX 2080 SUPER, and 300Hz IPS panel is $ 4,300.
The RTX 2080 SUPER Max-Q variant has some performance differences versus its desktop namesake.
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER:
3DMark Time Spy: 8337
3DMark Fire Strike: 20760
3Dmark 11 Performance: 27765
NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 SUPER Max-Q:
3DMark Time Spy: 7938
3DMark Fire Strike: 18871
3Dmark 11 Performance: 25712
The difference would be 10% performance in favor of the variant for desktop PCs. We’ll see how the laptops that will come with AMD’s Ryzen 4000 series behave in combination with this NVIDIA GPU in the coming weeks. We will keep you informed.
