BenQ has announced the XL2746S monitor, the latest in the Zowie series of gaming monitors. Unfortunately, it is somewhat behind with regard to what is already coming to the market. The panel is TN type, with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels for 1080p gaming.
Catch every detail of motion and enjoy the most fluid gameplay by ZOWIE native 240Hz refresh rate monitor, which ensures a flawless view of fast-motion and dramatic transitions consistently at all times. (Please make sure the PC performance is up to par to activate 240Hz fully). The refresh rate, together with the ultra-fast 0.5ms response time makes this monitor a great deal for pro gaming.
”XL-series features the premiere monitors for PC e-Sports, fine-tuned to guarantee the smoothest and responsive experience, and the clearest images to arm you for competition,” wrote Benq.

The panel features a maximum brightness of 320 nits, static contrast 1000: 1, and E implements Adaptive FreeSync refresh. It includes a variety of image enhancement, blue light reduction, and anti-flicker technologies, plus the company’s DyAc + to reduce trail motion further.
DyAc™ makes vigorous in-game actions such as spraying less blur. This allows gamers to see the position of crosshair and impact points more clearly, which can help with recoil control. DyAc+ is based on this same technology and, through panel optimization, provides gamers with a different option for actions such as spray control.
The monitor foot allows adjustment of the inclination –5º to + 20º, pivoting 90º, height +140 mm, and turning –45º to + 45º, but it can be removed to put a 100 × 100 mm VESA mount. It includes two HDMI 1.4 connectors, a DisplayPort 1.2, a DVI-D and a two USB 3.0 hub.
In addition to ear muffs to reduce reflections and focus more on the game, the monitor has a dial to switch between three pre-configured image profiles quickly.
